12 × 40 s, tap Play, then lock the iPad. Wait 9 minutes. Unlock: “switches” ≥ 10, “while hidden” ≥ 10, failures 0, audio still going. Repeat with the other strategy.
2 × 3 min, Play, lock. The second segment must start while locked.
One 25-min file, Play, lock, leave it. It must reach “set finished”.
While playing: change speed, use the lock-screen controls (play/pause, ⏮ ⏭), tap a word in the text to jump there.
After each run tap Upload report. Do the whole list once in Safari and once from the Home Screen icon (Share → Add to Home Screen).
The voice is macOS “say” and the word highlight is an estimate; only the mechanics matter here.
